About Us

Our centre is licensed by the Department of Human Services to provide quality educational programs for up to 50 children per day ,aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
Our centre is registered with the National Childcare Accreditation Council. The broad objective of the QIAS is to ensure that children in long day care have stimulating, positive experiences that foster all aspects of their development.
It does this by defining quality in long day care and providing a way to measure the quality of care. Our centre has been accreditated as a high quality service.

Some projects the children have been involved in learning about include insects, nature and sea creatures. The children have practicing to become scientists, hairdressers, chefs and artists.
 The children learn skills on how to work well with others, problems solve and strategies to deal with conflict, building self esteem and confidence.
 The children’s numeracy, language and literacy skills are developed through puzzles, books, games and music activities.

Parents are important to us at Lyndel Childcare Centre, so we encourage their input. Parents are welcome to be involved at any time of the day .We also have special occasions ,such as Grandparents Day, Mother’s Day ,Father’s Day , Library excursions, special planned incursions as well as our famous Family Christmas party.

Our staff are friendly, approachable and experienced, each having qualifications ranging from Certificate III of Children’s Services, Diploma of Children’s Service and Advanced Diploma of Children’s Services.
